Siam Paragon – World of Taste Gala: Cross-Concept Pop-Up Series – Episode I: The Italian, November 2018
Siam Paragon, in cooperation with Gastronauts Asia, is pleased to announce the first installment of the much anticipated “Cross-Concept Pop-Up Series”. The series will feature several international Michelin-starred restaurant guest chefs who will stage “takeovers” of the different restaurants and retail spaces within Siam Paragon, in collaboration with several of Siam Paragon’s food and beverage outlets. To create a unique dining experience, we will bring world-renowned chefs to take over the food and beverage outlets.
In November 2018, the first for this series will feature The Costardi Brothers at AMICI Restaurant on 16th & 17th; and the pastry chef, Fabrizio Fiorani at Ladurée on 23rd & 24th.

Eat Drink Pink 2018 – Tastefully and Charitably at The Peninsula Bangkok
Monday, 1 October 2018, 7- 10 pm
Once again, a select group of the city’s top restaurants and bars gather for the Eat Drink Pink charity event, with funds raised going towards the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC) and the Pink Park Village.
The annual fundraiser will again be held at The Peninsula Bangkok, as part of the ‘Peninsula in Pink’ campaign. Guests will have opportunity to sample signature drinks and dishes from some of Bangkok’s elite chefs and bartenders, while raising funds to contribute toward fighting breast cancer.
A host of International chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants descend on Bangkok for WGF2018
For the 19th edition of the World Gourmet Festival (WGF), Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has partnered with Sanpellegrino and Gastronauts Asia to invite a host of international chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.
Returning to Bangkok, celebrity chef and TV presenter Bobby Chinn will be in town for the event while award-winning chocolatier, Paul A Young, joins the line-up from London. La Scala is proud to welcome Chef Umberto Bombana from the 3 Michelin-starred 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA in Hong Kong, the only Italian restaurant outside of Italy to hold 3 Michelin stars and voted No.13 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018. Chef Bombana will be preparing lunch and dinner on 23rd and 24th May at La Scala, The Sukhothai Bangkok.

The Bangkok International Taste Experience (BITE) launched at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok for a gathering of world-class chefs and food enthusiasts from around the globe. Foodies joined together for one one-off culinary extravaganza in which chef presentations and panel discussions pondered the question: “What’s Next? The Future of Global Gastronomy”. After BITE’s afternoon forum, a boat took guests across the Chao Phraya River to the Sala Rim Naam Gardens for an exclusive champagne reception and 15-course Gastronausts Dinner.
